1 - will not work any more - closing an entire bunch of panels is currently far more time-consuming and irritating (the escape vital is in the same position on all my keyboards, the shift/control keys aren't)... Also tab further - check out opening all solutions using that dimensions screen and there will even be some type aspects past your access.
